Frederick Jorgensen, 87, of Thief River Falls, MN, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Sanford Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Fred will be laid to rest at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls on the Jorgensen family plot with Rev. Jonathan Dodson officiating.

Frederick Wilhelm Jorgensen was born July 4, 1936 the son of John C. Jorgensen Sr. and Emmy D. (Hansen) Jorgensen. Fred farmed in Wyandotte Township, Pennington County most of his life and worked at various places around the Thief River Falls area.

Survivors included several nieces and nephews and his best friends, Wes Magnell and Esp Christensen.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Earl, John Jr., Willie, Kenneth, Raymond, Rosie, Myrtle, Celia, Lillian, and Minnie.
