Obituary

Fredrick "Fred" Haubrick 76 of Grygla, MN passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Saint Vincent HealthCare in Billings, MT.

Memorial service will be held when it is safe to gather together.

Fredrick James Haubrick was born August 12, 1943 in Brainerd, MN son of Earl James and Nellie (Carroll) Haubrick. He moved with his aunt Bessie (Carroll) Sartwell and Frank Sartwell at the age of 8 to Minneapolis, MN where he grew up and attended school with his future wife, Marlis Zimmermann.

Fred served in the US Army for a time. Following his honorable discharge he was united in marriage to Marlis Avon Zimmermann October 7, 1961 in Minneapolis at St. Pauls Lutheran Church. Together they made their home in Mounds View, Mn  where they raised their children, Jamie and Frank. Fred worked many years as a carpenter and retired from 3M. The couple retired to Grygla, MN in 2001.

Fred was a Golden Gloves boxer and went six years undefeated. He also enjoyed fishing hunting and being with family

Fred is survived by his children, Jamie Dallman of Cody, WY, and Frank (Sharon) Haubrick of Maple Grove, MN; grandchildren, Daniel (Cailyn) Dallman of Cody, WY, Melissa (Daniel) Berg of Wheeler, WI, Troy Haubrick of Red Wing, MN, and Nick Haubrick of Cottage Grove, MN; great-grandchildren, Alexia Dallman, Elijah Dallman, Madison Dallman, and Rebekah Dallman of Cody, WY, Gage Berg, Noah Berg, Abby Berg, and Owen Berg of Wheeler, WI, Thoren Haubrick of Isanti, MN, and Mae Haubrick and Trent Haubrick of Cottage Grove, MN;     Brothers-in-law, Jerome (Camellia) Zimmermann of Richfield, MN and Kenneth (Pat) Zimmermann of Sioux Falls, SD; sister-in-law, Renee (David) Filas of Middle River, MN; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Fred is preceded in death by his wife Marlis Haubrick, parents Earl and Nellie Haubrick aunts and uncles, brother Larry Haubrick, sister Linda Haubrick.
