Gary Bouffleur of Mentor, MN, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, at the age of 74. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mentor, MN, with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating. Gary Allen Bouffleur was born November 28, 1940 in Crookston, MN, the son of Virgil and Blanche (Stoddard) Bouffleur. He grew up and attended school in Red Lake Falls, MN, and graduated from Lafayette High School in 1958. Following high school Gary started working in construction and continued in that industry until his retirement in 2003. On August 29, 1959 Gary was united in marriage to Janice Davis in Mentor, MN. They made their home in the mentor area where they also raised their family. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and watching sports. In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family suggests donations to be sent to the church or organization of the donors choosing. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Janice of Mentor, MN; children, Allen Bouffleur of Mentor, MN, Larry (Sheila) Bouffleur of Mentor, MN, Lori (Rick) Krull of Moorhead, MN, Darcie (Daniel) DeFrang of Duluth, MN; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Bouffleur of Nevada; brother, Keith Hamm of Pine City, MN; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
