Gaylen Sordahl, Trail, MN, age 67, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee with Dawn Hanson Officiating. Burial will be at Valle Cemetery near Trail, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Gaylen Burnell Sordahl was born February 4, 1950, the son of Gunder and Bergit (Person) Sordahl at Crookston, MN. He was baptized at Valle Church rural Trail and confirmed at Faith Lutheran at Elma, WA. The family moved to Elma, WA in 1963. He attended grade school in Oklee, MN and graduated from Elma Washington High School Graduating in 1968.

Gaylen returned to Minnesota after graduation where he raised dairy and beef cows and farmed in the Oklee and Gully area. He moved to Trail in 2010.

Gaylen is survived by his sister Helen Sordahl of Trail, MN; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Gloria Sordahl and Marilyn Halvorson along with his grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
