Gaylord Sorum, 81, died on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Oakland Park Nursing Home in Thief River Falls, MN.

Gaylord Marlin Sorum was born on December 1, 1923 in Holt, MN, the son of Bertine Bertha Sorum. He was baptized in the Christian Faith on November 17, 1924 and attended school in Thief River Falls. Gaylord grew up and farmed in Excel Township, Marshall County and worked as a Farm Laborer in the Holt area. He moved to Thief River Falls in 1988.

He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go hunting.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha, on May 20, 1972 and his grandparents, Theodore and Christine Sorum.
