Glen Jorde, 95 of Thief River Falls, MN, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Private family graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Joy Grainger officiating.

Glen Rueben Jorde was born June 29, 1925 on the family farm near Thief River Falls, MN son of Andrew and Emma (Sanden) Jorde. He was raised on the family farm and attended rural school. He farmed with his father until his death. Glen continued on the family farm the rest of his life.

On April 7, 1951 he was united in marriage to Donna Bergland in Thief River Falls, MN. The couple worked side by side farming and raising their family.

Glen was a member of Abundant Life Church and served on the Township Board for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and traveling. He had a great sense of humor, kindhearted and a great role model for his family. Most of all Glen loved his farm and family. Glen loved and enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Glen is survived by his children Susan (John) Martz of Big Rapids, MI, Randy (Cory) Jorde of Thief River Falls, MN, Lucy (Ron) Boeger of Cherokee, CA, Penny (Greg) Harder of Thief River Falls, MN; grandchildren Cade (Melissa) Boeger, Nathan (Michelle) Hunt, Ryann (Mike) Newman, Josh Hunt, Katie (Lance) Schiltz, Chance (Karla) Boeger, Samantha (Justin) Klinkhammer, Mikkel Jorde, Hans Harder, Annah Harder, Gary Vicente, Robin Vicente, Stacey McBride and Bridget Martz; numerous  great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; son-in-law Rick Vicente of Thief River Falls, MN; sister Rudean Neumann of Coeur d'Alene, ID; along with several nieces and nephews.

Glen is preceded in death by his wife Donna on March 10, 1997, daughter Marsha Vicente, infant daughter Darcy Jill and his parents; siblings Gladys Kaushagen, Alice Christianson, Melvin Jorde, Edna Sagmoen, Ruth Engen, and Ella Hegland.
