Obituary

Glenn Underdahl, 82, Bismarck, died February 1, 2009, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Missouri Slope Care Center with Rev. Dale Nabben officiating.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Pastor Phil Rokke officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday in Thief River Falls.

Burial will be held in Westaker Cemetery, Newfolden, MN.

Glenn was born February 27, 1926, the son of Sigward and Cynthia (Kneeskern) Underdahl on the family farm northwest of Middle River, MN. Glenn was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
He grew up in the Middle River area before moving to Bismarck, ND where he has resided for over 50 years. He was united in marriage to Olga in June of 1955. Glenn drove truck for the 7-up company for 27 years. He ran a local delivery area around Bismarck. He then owned and operated a gas station and car sales known as A-1 motors in Bismarck. He later sold used cars for many years on his own.

He is survived by his wife, Olga, Bismarck; his son, Donald Underdahl, Hobart, IN; his stepson, Virgil (Sheila) Miller of Coeur d Alene, ID; his stepdaughter, Bonnie (Eugene) Skoog of Cogswell, ND; his brothers, Elton (Yvonne) and Curt (Beverly); his sisters-in-law, Lois Underdahl and Muriel Underdahl; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Glenn Jr., his brothers, Clifford, Leverne, and Harvey; his sister, Shirley Anderson; and stepdaughter, Wanda Decker.
