Gloria Larson, 75, of Minot, ND formerly of Thief River Falls, MN died on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Trinity Hospital in Minot, ND.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Burial will follow at the Holt Cemetery in Holt, MN.

Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.

Gloria Kvestad was born November 28, 1932 in Johnson Township near Trail, MN the daughter of Ingvald and Alma (Ellegaard) Kvestad. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith and attended country school.

She was united in marriage to Clifford Ellsworth Larson on January 13, 1961 in Iowa. They made their home near Thief River Falls where Gloria was a homemaker.

She enjoyed embroidering, baking and tending her flowers.

Gloria is survived by three children, Glen Kvestad of Hanahan, SC, Violet Hanson of Norwich, ND and Conley Larson of Thief River Falls, MN; four grandchildren, Veronica, Gary, Nicholas and Laura; and two great-grandchildren; brother, Lane (Jean) Kvestad of Apple Valley, MN.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford in 1990; brothers, Arden Kvestad and Robert Kvestad.
