Gloriann Leach, of Thief River Falls, MN, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Villa St. Vincent in Crookston, MN.

Private family memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 10, 2021 with Reverend Darrel Cory & Grandson Reverend Chris Leach officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.

Public visitation will be held an hour and a half prior to the service at the church.

Gloriann (Audette) Leach was born on June 27, 1937 at home in rural Red Lake Falls, MN, daughter to Clifford and Anna (Mayhew) Audette. She was baptized at St. Dorothy's Catholic Church, Dorothy, MN and confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Red Lake Falls, MN. She attended St. Joseph's School through the 8 ^th grade and graduated from Lafayette High School, Red Lake Falls, MN in 1955.

She married Lawrence Edward Leach on May 5, 1956 and to this union 4 sons were born Greg, Michael, Kevin, and Brian.

Gloriann started working just after high school at the Red Lake Electric Association in Red Lake Falls, MN. She then traveled to Thief River Falls to work at Ben Franklin, Woolworth's, and the VFW. Her love for waiting on people brought her to one of the busiest café's in town, The Lantern, where she worked for many years until retirement.  While her kids were small she babysat many other children along with her own.

She enjoyed crocheting baby afghans for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to sew, knit, and play Bingo. Her most valuable moments were spent at their lake cabin with family for over 50 years.

Gloriann was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and Redeemer Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence of  64 years; sons, Gregory (Marya) Hallstrom Leach, Sioux Falls, SD, Kevin (Julie) Quam Leach, Dellwood, MN , and Brian (Kathie) Lane Leach, Duluth, MN ; 16 grandchildren, Matt(Stacey), Kelli(Lee), Krista (Billy), Jason (Krista), Chris (Sarah), Casey (Brandon), Justin (Heidi), Gavin, Caitlin, and Alex; 14 great-grandchildren, Audette, Lakely, Elyse, Adalynn, Trevor, Kiera, Nick, Norah, Kyleigh, Blake, Brady, Hailey, Jackson, Jensen;  brother John Audette; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son, Michael; her parents and grandparents.
