Grace A. (Lindahl) Brown, 92, of Thief River Falls, MN died on Thursday, February 06, 2003, at the Oakland Park Nursing Home in Thief River Falls.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2003 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at the Johnson Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Eric Hanson officiating.

Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California on Thursday, February 13, 2003 at 2:00 PM.

Grace Ardell Lindahl was born on February 18, 1910 to Charles and Anna (Loe) Lindahl in Bemidji, MN. Her mother died when Grace was two years old and her grandmother raised her. She grew up in Bemidji, MN and moved as a young lady to Minneapolis, MN. She was united in marriage to Harold Brown on March 24, 1928 in Minneapolis, MN. They lived in Chicago for many years where Grace worked in an antique shop. The couple retired to Orange County California where Grace continued to live until the early 1980s. Harold died on January 18, 1982. Grace moved to Thief River Falls after his death and has continued to live in Thief River Falls. She moved to Oakland Park Nursing Home in 1999.

Grace had a classy fair about her. She was an accomplished piano player who played up until her death. She attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Thief River Falls.

She is survived locally by her nephew Luverne (Iva) Lindahl of Thief River Falls, MN; also brothers Leslie Lindahl of Oregon; Bob Lindahl of California; Glen Lindahl, Dubuque, IA; Aldyne Salmi, Alabama; Helen Lindahl, Winnepeg, Manitoba; Bobby Glovsky; Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Douglas, two brothers, Walter and Lyle; two sisters Joyce and Margaret.
