Grace Yvonne Landis, 75, passed on to a higher echelon on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at her home in Thief River Falls, MN surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Grace Yvonne Ralls was born on December 1, 1936 in Goodland, KS the daughter of William Clifton and Margaret Luverne (Levese) Ralls. The family moved a lot during her younger years all over the United States. Grace was a God loving woman; she always felt God was walking beside her, not in front of her or behind herbut beside her. If Grace was ever in pain or needed help, she would take God's hand to lead her through. She was married to Dennis Landis for 22 years; these were the best years of her life. Dennis's favorite nickname for her was "Parnelli". This was a tribute to her driving skills. After Dennis's passing in 2000, Grace moved to Thief River Falls to be closer to her loving family. While living in Las Vegas, NV, Grace worked at Al Philips Dry Cleaner/Launderer. Grace enjoyed crocheting, movies, crosswords, playing bingo & slots. She loved all animals and had a great sense of humor. Grace had a green thumb and loved to garden. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her children Jack, Kathleen, Debbie, Timothy (Tracy), Melody (Mike); grandbabies, Joleen, Rhonda, Jamie, Grace (Jason), Kenny (Sherry), Kerney (Brandi), Michael (Amanda), Cassandra, Taven (Kenny), Teddie, John, Juaquine, and Jessie; great-grandbabies, Ariel, Annie, Danielle, Eben, Brienne, Abbigail, Miles, Courtney, Tevis, Jonathon, Tiffany, Mercedes, Anthony, Tyler, Hannah, Jacob, Lee, Jasmine, Aiden, Austin, Jaydin, Jasmine, and Kenneth, Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; children, Jim and Peggy; grandbabies, JoAnne, Dearborn, and Janelle; great-grandbaby, Josephine; parents; and sisters, Barbara Jean and Mary Anne.
