Greg Sandeen, 37 of Brooks, MN died on Wednesday, January 13, 1999 at his home in Brooks, MN. Arrangements with Petterson Funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 1999 at 2:00 PM at Oak Park Lutheran Church North of Oklee, MN with Reverend Steven Sparley Officiating. Burial will be held in the Oak Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 Prayer service at the Petterson Funeral Home in Oklee and also one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Gregory Greg Sandeen was born May 6, 1961 at Fosston, MN son of Milo and Eleanor (Brinkman) Sandeen. He was raised in the Oklee area and attended school there, graduating from Oklee High School in 1979. He was baptized at the Asphult Church in Hill River Township, Polk County, MN and Confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Oklee. On July 31, 1993 he was united in marriage to Rachael Mandt at Oak Park Lutheran Church near Oklee. The couple lived in Brooks, MN where he was a self employed carpenter.
Greg enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodcarving.
He is survived by his wife Rachael Sandeen of Brooks, MN; daughter Brianna at home; father Milo Sandeen (Betty) of Brooks, MN; mother Eleanor Balko (Dick) of Red Wood Falls, MN: brother Darrell Sandeen of Oklee, MN; sister Angie Sandeen of Waseca, MN and nieces and nephews Kayla Sandeen, Tasha Hutchinson and T.J. Sandeen-Jennings.
Greg is preceded in death by his grandparents Irvin and Gina Brinkman and Mary and Emil Sandeen, two uncles Lowell Sandeen and Jerome Brinkman: one infant brother Dale Sandeen.
