Gregory Wayne Horachek, 44, died Tuesday, August 23, 2005 in St. Paul, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 27, 2005 at St. Anns Catholic Church, Goodridge, MN with Father John Kleinwatcher presiding. Burial will be at Czeh National Bohemian Cemetery, Goodridge, MN.

Visitation will be 4 " 8 PM, Friday August 26, 2005 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN, with a 7 PM wake service and for one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Gregory Wayne Horachek was born on May 28, 1961 at St.Lukes Hospital in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of George and Donna (Lee) Horachek. He was baptized at St. Anns Catholic Church in Goodridge, MN and attended school in Goodridge. Following school Greg worked for Dick Smith Septic and area farmers. In 1981 he moved to Phoenix, AZ, where he owned and operated his own cleaning business, the Mid-Knight Magic, which he had for about seven years. Greg then went to work for a construction company as a mechanic. In November of 1999 he moved to Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, where he worked for ABC Movers, Matthew Construction, Bonnies Diner and several other jobs.

Greg had a very outgoing personality, music was a big part of his life, writing, listening and playing in bands. He loved playing his guitar. Greg believed in helping everyone and was a very caring person, took time for the Little People and enjoyed talking to children and the elderly. He also enjoyed hiking, rock climbing, swimming, fishing, horticulture and loved spending time with his loved ones.

Greg is survived by his son, Elijah John in Arizona; his mother, Donna Horachek of Goodridge, MN; brothers and sisters: Kathrine Siverling of Stevens Point, WI, Beverley Horachek of Minneapolis, MN, Douglas (Heidi) Horachek of Goodridge, MN, Vincent Horachek of Thief River Falls, MN, John Horachek of Madison, WI and Valarie Horachek of Williams, MN; nieces and nephews: Jaclyn Siverling, Kristy Potter, Tony Horachek, Ryan Horachek, Corey Larson, Nick Siverling, Adam Horachek; and great nephew, Mason Siverling.

He was preceded in death by his father, George; brothers, Ronald and infant brother; his grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
