Harold Derosier, 74, died on Friday, October 19, 2012 at his home in rural Red Lake Falls. MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM, Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Chuck Huck presiding. Burial will be at St. Anthony Cemetery in Terrebonne, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Harold Derosier was born September 3, 1938 in Gervais Townsip, MN, the son of Leo J. and Feleca (Gagnon) Derosier. He was baptized at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Terrebonne. He attended Bugalo School through the 8th grade and in 1956 he graduated from the Agricultural College in Crookston, MN. On August 30, 1958, Harold was united in marriage to Jeanette Riel at St. Anthony's Church Terrebonne. He worked in construction in the twin cities, American Crystal Sugar, Crookston, MN and spent 35 years farming. His farm was designated as a Century Farm Harold was a member of St. Anthony's Parish, Terrebonne, where he served on the church and cemetery boards and served on the Gervis Township board. Harold and his wife were named Land O' Lakes Couple of the Year, Agricultural Couple of the Year for 1995, Red River Valley Winter Show Dairy Couple of the Year 1995 and Honored Dairy Farmers of the Year, 1982. He is survived by 3 children: Allen (Wendy) Derosier, Yucuipa, CA, Randy Derosier, Red Lake Falls, MN and Kevin Derosier, Red Lake Falls, MN; 8 grandchildren: Aaron (Ashley), Eric, Alex, Mariah, Madison, Lindsay, Todd and Nicholas, a great-grandson: Lincoln; 2 brothers: Elmer (Betty) Derosier, White Bear Lake, MM and Andrew (Arlyce) Derosier, Savage, MN; 2 sisters: Marlene (Marv) Dehne, Montevideo, MN, and Lillian (Robert) Perreault, St. Michael, MN.
