Harold H. Hugg, 81, of Grygla, MN passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Lifecare Medical Center in Roseau, MN.

Funeral Service will be 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Harold Howard Hugg was born on September 6, 1936 in Caribou Township, Kittson County, MN the son of Carl and Lillie (Ogorek) Hugg.  Harold attended country school through the 8 ^th grade.  He worked on the family farm and also helped the neighbors, especially Kiene Farms for many years.

On May 27, 1960, Harold was united in marriage to Adeline Chwialkowski and to this union three children were born, Ardeene, Howard and Haven.  They lived in the Viking, MN and Thief River Falls, MN area.  Harold worked for Pioneer Plating Company, Detroiter Mobile Homes and Lakehead Pipeline.  Harold joined the Painters Union and began painting and sandblasting at the Beulah/Hazen Coal Gasification Plant, Mall Of America, and many other places.

He was the city constable in Viking.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, woodwork and building birdhouses.  He also enjoyed bowling league, trap shooting, cards, dice and Yahtzee.

Survivors include his special friend, Arlene Bushie of 23 years; children, Ardeene (Rocky) Hagen, Howard Hugg, Haven Hugg; grandchildren, Kylen (Steph) Hagen, Tyrin (Kayla) Hagen, Austin Hugg, Sasha Rae Hugg, Hope Hugg, Kelsey Hugg, Kyler Hugg, Karlee Hugg; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Harlie, Grayden, Jemma, Blaze and Dazee; siblings, Ardis Jones, Elsie Dieter, Oddis Hugg, Lester Hugg, Louis (Carolyn) Hugg, Linda (Henry) Pulczinski, Carl (Carol) Hugg, Alden (Geraldine) Hugg; sister-in-law, Marge Hugg; and many other relatives and friends.
