Harriet Perreault, 82, New Hope, MN formerly Brooks, MN died Monday, June 2, 2003 at Northridge Care Center, New Hope, MN.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, June 6, 2003, 10:30 AM, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Brooks with Father Tim Bushy Officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Brooks.
Visitation will be Thursday, 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 prayer service at Johnson Funeral Service, Red Lake Falls and also one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
Harriet Marie Pigeon was born August 16, 1920 daughter of the late Henry and Marie (Champagne) Pigeon at Brooks, MN. She was raised in the Brooks area and attended rural school. On July 27, 1938 she was united in marriage to David Perreault at Terrebonne, MN. The couple owned and operated Perreaults Service and lived most of their lives in the Brooks area spending winters in Arizona. David passed away December 29, 1984. Harriet continued to live in Brooks and spend winters in Arizona until entering Northridge Care Center in New Hope, MN.
She was active in St. Anns Society in Brooks and the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Brooks. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, dancing, bowling, quilting, crocheting, fishing and camping, and was a member of the snowmobiling club, Good Sams Club and Royal Neighbors Society.
Harriet is survived by children Lloyd (Sandra) Perreault, Plymouth, MN, Robert (Lillian) Perreault, Maple Grove, MN, Richard (Debbie) Perreault, Waseca, MN, Dale (Bobbie) Perreault, Glencoe, MN, Marilyn (Charles) Franklin, Moorhead, MN, Karen (Jim) Otto, Brandon, MN and Marie (Larry) Svir, Maple Grove, MN: 27 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; brother, Sheldon (Rosalie) Pigeon, Brooklyn Park, MN and sister Veronica (Leonard) Boucher, Brooks, MN.
She is preceded in death by her husband David, son in law Willard (Bill) Marcotte, one step grandson and one grandson in law.
