Sharol JoAnn Haugen, 56, died Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at her home in Thief River Falls, MN.
Service of Remembrance will be 7:00 PM, Monday, February 17, 2003 at Johnson Green Funeral Home, Thief River Falls, MN with Father Tim McGee officiating.
Sharol JoAnn Marciniak was born April 13, 1946 at Crookston, MN, the daughter of William Bill and Doris Ione (Rasmussen) Marciniak. She grew up and attended school at Drayton, ND.
In 1965, Sharol was united in marriage to James Lee Emerson at Minneapolis, MN and made their home in Thief River Falls, MN. Sharol married Lee John Haugen, Sr. in 1975 and the couple made their home in Alvarado, MN. In 1979, after divorcing she returned to Thief River Falls and Sharol became employed as a cook at Ivers Caf in Thief River Falls and also worked other various jobs. She also worked for 7 years at Northern Pride, until her health made her stop.
Sharol liked playing games, game boy, puzzles and was a TV watcher. She liked to watch and collect Scooby Do and go shopping. She mostly enjoyed being with her 3 sons.
Survived by sons, James Duane Emerson, Grand Forks, ND, Jeffery Lin Emerson, Salt Lake City, UT and Lee John Haugen, Jr., Thief River Falls, MN; grandchild, JoDal Leigh Emerson, East Grand Forks, MN; mother, Doris Marciniak; sisters, Aurelia Landreville, Melda Marciniak and Virginia Bustrack all Thief River Falls, MN and twin sister, Sharon Millang, Milwaukee, WI; brothers, William Marciniak, Jr., Halstad, MN, Curtis Marciniak, Circle Pines, MN and Dwight Marciniak, Alvarado, MN.
Preceded in death by father.
