Haze Beito, Thief River Falls, MN, 82, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

A Visitation in honor of Haze will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.   Burial will follow at Black River Cemetery, rural St. Hilaire, MN.

Haze Anthony Beito was born on April 24, 1941 in Marshall County, 6 miles east of Strathcona MN, the son of Tony and Lillie Beito.  He graduated from Badger High School, Badger, MN in 1959.

Haze proudly served in the United States Army.

Haze was united in marriage to Barbara Stephens.  Together they made their home on their farm outside of Thief River Falls.

Haze was employed by the City of Thief River Falls for many years, retiring in 2003.

His favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing, and camping.  Haze enjoyed family time – never missing a family function.

Haze is survived by sister Sophie (Darrel) Warne; brother Robert (Kim) Brotherson; several nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara.
