Heidi A, Eva was born in Taunton, Massachusetts on August 23, 1963 to Russell and Donalene (Robinson) Eva, Sr. She was their 5th and last child and she was our baby sister. Her childhood was spent in Attleboro and Rehoboth, Massachusetts before moving to West Virginia in 1975 at age 11. Heidis mother died in January of 1977 and she continued living with her father until just before his death in March of 1988. After her fathers death, she lived briefly with her sister Jonadene and then was cared for by her brother Russell and his wife Sheri. She then moved into a group home in 2001 in Karlstad, MN where she lived until her death.
Heidi was born into a Seventh Day Adventist Christian family and was baptized in 1974. Her church, family, and friends at the group home were the joy of her life. She loved people and dogs, listening to music, doing latch hook and word searches and writing letters to those she loved. She also loved participating in Special Olympics, her activities at the group home and her work at DAC in Lake Bronson.
The family would like to express great gratitude to the Karlstad Seventh Day Adventist Church for their kindness, and spiritual encouragement to Heidi throughout the years and to the McKinley Group Home for their care and love the last seven years of Heidis life. She loved you dearly. We will never forget your kindness to her.
