Sun City West,-AZ -Helen Noyes - passed away May 15, 2012 at Grandview Health Care Center, Sun City West, AZ. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert presiding. Internment will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN with lunch to follow at the church. Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, preceding the service. Helen Bruggeman Noyes was born November 23, 1924 at Plummer, MN, to Jacob and Hilda Ollie. She attended school and graduated from Pershing High School, Plummer, MN in 1942. In September of 1943 Helen was united in marriage to Sidney Bruggeman. Sidney passed away in 1984. In July of 1989 she married Vernon Noyes. Family life was important to Helen. Her ties to family were deeply rooted, treasuring the moments spent through the years with her parents, sisters and their families. Helen was a wife, companion and beloved soulmate to Sidney for 41 years. During their lifetime together they inspired their children and friends with their unconditional love for one another. There were 3 children born into this union: Sharon, Sandy and Joni. She was an inspirational mother who put her family first. Helen treasured her grandchildren, loving their visits and watching them grow and change, and watching her own children mature as loving parents. Survivors include husband, Vernon Noyes, Sun City West, AZ; sisters May Ollie Los Angeles CA; Wynn Blue, Los Angeles CA; children Sharon (Cliff) Schroeder, Hecla SD; Sandy (Ed) Davidson, Sun City West AZ; Joni (Rod) Carlson, Sioux Falls SD; 9 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Hilda, sisters Irene, Ann and Elma; brother, George and first husband Sidney.
