Henry J. Moser, 82 of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Saturday, February 13, 1999 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN. Arrangements with Petterson Funeral Home Inc. of Red Lake Falls, MN.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 1999 at 2:00 PM in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Tim Bushy Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake Falls.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Petterson Funeral Home Inc. in Red Lake Falls from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:30 prayer service and also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Henry Joseph Moser was born November 15, 1916, the son of Wilheim and Kathi (Kaml) Moser in Roseau County, MN. He was raised and attended school in Roseau. He married Lillian D. LeRoux on July 8, 1937 in Superior, WI. Henry was a beekeeper for many years, he worked as an engineer in the Roseau Flour Mills and in the shipyards in Superior during World War II. His later career is defined by his history as a machinist, welder, master plumber, dairy farmer and egg farmer. He retired in the early 1980s, then moved to Red Lake Falls in 1993. He has been cared for by the staff at Hillcrest Nursing Home since July 1996.
Henry enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry and his favorite was making woodcrafts for the kids. He also baked and helped make cookies. He was a member of the Oddfellows of Roseau, MN.
He is survived by his wife Lillian Moser of Red Lake Falls, MN; son Bill Moser (Jean) of Red Lake Falls, MN; six grandchildren Susan (Earl), Kimberly (Dan), Karen (Don), Bill (Gayle) Rory, Gary (Nancy); sixteen grandchildren: one brother Wenzel (Betty) Moser of California; sisters Mary Shimpa of Crookston, MN and Bertha Flovin of California; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Henry is preceded in death by his son James Moser in November of 1967, brothers Bill, John, Fred and Frank: sister Wilhemina and stepbrother Les.
May his memory be blessed by the legacy of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
