Ida Blilie, 66 of Thief River Falls, MN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at her home in Thief River Falls.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will be held on Monday starting at 1:00 PM and continue till the time of service.

Ida Jane Blilie was born July 15, 1949 at Grand Forks, ND daughter of Menford and Emma (Henry) Blilie. She was raised and attended school in Grygla, MN. She was baptized in the catholic faith. Ida stayed at home and took care of her mother and father for many years. Ida worked at Handy Farms, Shooting Star Casino and most recently Walmart in Thief River Falls, MN.

Ida could bring a smile to anyone's heart. She was kind and forgiving because of her heart of gold. She loved to play bingo and spending time at the casino. Ida loved to visit with anyone and everyone who came into Walmart.

She would give her last dollar to anyone in need. Ida was a great mother to Craig and Gary, grandmother to Oscar and Danny, and a great friend to many. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Thief River Falls, MN.

Ida is survived by her son Gary (Holly) Blilie of Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren Oscar and Danny; sister Mary (Eugene) Goulet of Oklee, MN, brother Eddie Blilie of Thief River Falls, MN; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son Craig; her parents; and brothers Menford Jr. and Clifford.
