Ilene Lucille Lindholm went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2017 at the Riverview Care Center with family by her side where she had been residing since December 2015 at the age of 86.

Don't be sad because I, Ilene Lindholm, left for "Home" on October 28, 2017.  I am with my dad, Leon McMahon, my mom, Alice (Coan) McMahon, my husband, Clifford Lindholm, brother, Hilton McMahon and many others.  They were all waiting for me with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  My walker, my wheelchair, and medication were checked at the pearly gates, no longer needed. While God created the Earth and said it was good, Heaven is so much more!  My time on Earth was full and complete.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 7th at 11:00 am at Bethel Assembly, 34647 410th St SE, Fosston, MN with Pastor Seth Johnson officiating.  Burial will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN at 4:00 PM.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm on Monday, November 6th with a service to follow at 7pm, at Bethel Assembly Fosston, MN.

Ilene (McMahon) Lindholm was born at home in Martin, ND on December 16, 1930; she attended country school west of Highlanding, Mn and Goodridge High School through the 10th grade.

Ilene Lindholm was married to Norman Fimrite and later married to Matt Kruchowski, and on September 1968 was united in marriage to Clifford Lindholm for 44 years before his passing on September 9, 2012. The couple lived in Brooks, MN area for 2 years before moving to Cloquet, MN.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, cooking and baking.  She was an active member of her church and always willing to share her faith. Ilene was baptized November 1994 at the Cloquet Gospel Tabernacle.

May of 2008 Cliff and Ilene sold their home of almost 40 years and moved to an apartment in Crookston, MN.  After the passing of Cliff in 2012 Ilene moved in with her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and David.   December 2014 she moved into an assisted living center in McIntosh, MN., and December 2015 she moved into the Riverview Care Center in Crookston, MN because of her declining health and increase of dementia.

Ilene is survived by her children: David (Linda) Fimrite of St Cloud, MN;  Karen (David) Rock of Mentor, MN;  Duane (Kay) McMahon of St Paul, MN;  Brian (Bridget) Kruchowski, of St Paul, MN;  Michael, (Jeanne) Kruchowski of Cloquet, MN;  Patrick (Lori) Kruchowski of Brooks, MN; Keith Lindholm of Thief River Falls, MN;  step-son, Kenny Lindholm of Denver, CO;  brother, Leo (Joyce) McMahon of New London, MN;  29 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Ilene is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clifford, her brother, Hilton McMahon, step-son, Raymond Lindholm, step-daughter, Jean Thompson, and great-grandson, Kole Skartvedt.

The family would like to thank all those who prayed for, visited, and cared for Ilene.  Special thanks to the Riverview Care Center for the wonderful care given to our mother and grandmother.
