Iva Connie Moser, 84, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Sunday, March 26, 2000 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN. Arrangements with the Petterson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2000 at 2:00 PM in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls with Father Tim Bushy Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery in Brooks, MN.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 5 " 8 PM with a 8:00 prayer service at the Petterson Funeral home in Red Lake Falls and also one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Iva Christine Moser was born September 2, 1915 at Finlayson, MN daughter of the late George and Mabel (Beck) Royer. She grew up on a farm near Pine Lake, MN. Her father died in 1929 and the family moved to Minneapolis, MN. She attended a Vocational High School in Minneapolis and specialized in culinary arts (Cooking). She then went to work for the Daytons restaurant in Minneapolis for several years as a cook. On May 23, 1934 she was united in marriage to Fred W. Moser. They lived there until 1955 when they moved to a farm near Brooks, MN. Fred died on December 6, 1988. She moved into Red Lake Falls in April of 1990. January of 1992 she entered the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls where she has resided since. Connie enjoyed her gardening and baking. She was famous for cinnamon rolls and rhubarb pie .
Connie is survived by her two sons Fred T. Moser in California and Eugene (Shirley) Moser of Red Lake Falls, MN: two daughters Roseanne Budahl of Minnetonka, MN and Marilyn Moser of Pewaukee, WI. One brother George (Eleanor) Royer of Markville, MN and sister Florence Johnson of Rogers, MN. Grandchildren Sandy (Randy) Derosier, Scott (Janet) Moser, Barbara (Floyd) Swanson, Terry (Dianne) Moser, Nancy Moser, Danny Moser, Corey Budahl, Stacey Budahl and Chris Hanson. Great-grandchildren Aaron Derosier, Eric Derosier, Alex Derosier, Mariah Derosier, Zachary Moser, Joshua Moser, Nicholas, Moser. Also several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fred, infant daughter, grandson Larry Moser and daughter in law Kathy Moser.
