Jack Larson of Roseau, MN, died on Saturday November 14, 2015 at LifeCare Medical Center Roseau, MN, at the age of 74.

Memorial service and burial will be held on July 16, 2016. Burial will be held at Landstad Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls, MN.

Jack Dale Larson was born on July 24, 1941 to Harry and Pearl (Seaverson) Larson in Los Angeles, California. Shortly after he was born Jack and his parents moved to Thief River Falls, MN. Jack attended school in Thief River Falls.

In Jack's life he worked as a truck driver for Hartz and Robinson's. He also worked at the Cenex Store in Roseau and at the Lake of the Woods Casino in Warroad.

He lived in California, Thief River Falls, Roseau, and at the Greenbush Nursing Home for some time following a heart attack.  He then returned to Roseau until October 22, 2015 when he was admitted to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks,ND.  On November 13, 2015 he was transferred back to Roseau's LifeCare Medical Center where he resided until his passing.

Jack loved to watch sports on t.v. He collected salt & peppers shakers as well as cookie jars. He liked hunting. He enjoyed going up to the diner in Roseau every morning for breakfast and coffee. He enjoyed spending time with his grand kids and getting phone calls from his daughter and son-in-law and teasing her.

He is survived by his only daughter, Tara (William) Woytkiw of Benito,Manitoba Canada; grandchildren Marina, Rile, and Blake; a great-granddaughter to be born in December; sister-in-law, Charlotte Larson of Thief River Falls, MN; along with his nieces, nephews, and many other relatives.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Pearl; his brother Jerome, as well as other relatives.

He will be sadly missed by all.
