Jacob Jake Wayne Haugen, 21, of Thief River Falls, MN left us too soon on Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Thief River Falls.

A time for visitation and sharing memories of Jake will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.

Jake Haugen was born May 6, 1989 at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, MN the son of Scott Haugen and Lynn (Stadum) Fultz. As a baby he was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church in Erhard, MN. Jake attended schools in the Twin Cities area and moved to Thief River Falls during his 6th grade year. He attended Lincoln High School and in 2008 received his high school diploma.

Jake previously worked with his mother at Northern Pride. Recently, he was working for Gary Senum at Midwest Roofing and Siding with his Dad.

Jake enjoyed spending time with his family, his dog Pebbles and his best friend, James Shaugabay. He had a joyful personality and was always willing to help anyone, anywhere, anytime. His playful sense of humor and pranks always kept everybody in stitches.

Some of his favorite pastimes include spending time with his friends, playing basketball, fishing, taking Pebbles for walks, listening to music, dancing and looking in the mirror to make sure there wasnt a hair out of place. Jake was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and cousin to his family and a loyal friend to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his parents, Scott Haugen and Lynn Fultz, step-mother, Robyn Haynes and step-father, Sami Fultz all of Thief River Falls; sister and brothers, Jerika Ann Haugen, August AJ Cheeney, Ronald Cheeney and John Haugen all of Thief River Falls; grandparents, Ann Mischke of Thief River Falls, Ron and Lucy Stadum of Rothsay, MN and Gail Trayner of Yuba City, CA; great-grandmother, Rose Stadum of Fergus Falls, MN; special niece, Shania Ann Haugen of Thief River Falls; his cousins who he spent a lot of his time with, Ethan Haugen and Collin Drury-Putz of Thief River Falls; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Relatives and Friends.

He is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Floyd Haugen; uncles, John Haugen and Edward Gurneau; great-grandfathers, Juel Stadum and William Trayner; great-grandmother, Willie Mae Trayner.
