Jamie L. Harmer 32, of Thief River Falls, MN died unexpectedly while spending the winter in California. Jamie Lea Harmer was born April 21, 1982 at Fridley, MN daughter of Kent Harmer and Linda Tollefson. She was baptized at United Church of Christ in Plato, MN. She was raised at Buffalo, MN attending school in Delano, MN and later in Thief River Falls, MN and Grygla, MN. She attended Sunday school at Our Saviors Church at Grygla, MN. She received her GED in Minneapolis. Jamie lived in Minneapolis until moving back to Thief River Falls, MN in 2010 where she lived with her grandmother Arlene Wilcox. She worked at Northern Pride and attended Northland College for Massage Therapy. Jamie enjoyed making jewelry and crocheting. She also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and four-wheeling. She had many talents including singing and drawing. October of 2013 Jamie moved to Ramona, CA. Jamie is survived by her father Kent Harmer and friend Kim Adair of Norwood, MN, and her mother Linda Byklum and husband Dennis of Grygla, MN; grandparents Olive and Tom Pinske of Plato, MN and Arlene Wilcox of Thief River Falls, MN; aunts and uncles Julie Schroenrock and friend Davd Lang, Kyle Harmer and wife Dusty of Longville, MN; Barre Pinske of Chester, VT, Jodi Swaja and husband Dave of Hutchinson, MN, and Mike Tollefson of Stewartville, MN along with many cousins, great aunts, and great uncles. She is preceded in death by her brother Douglas Owen Harmer, aunt Amy Tollefson, and grandfather Harry Tollefson. Private family services will be held at a later date.
