Janelle Tvedt, passed away on July 23, 2021 at her home in East Grand Forks, MN.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 3, 2021at St. Joseph catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Bob Schreiner Officiating. Burial will be held 2:00 PM,  Friday, Aug. 6, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake Falls, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Janelle Lynn Tvedt was born January 28, 1973 at St. John's Hospital, Red Lake Falls, MN the daughter of James "Jim" and Linda (Cardinal) Tvedt.  She was baptized at St. Joseph's Church, Red Lake Falls and confirmed at Fergus Falls, MN.  She attended and graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1994.

Janelle was employed at the DAC in Detroit Lakes and later at the DAC in East Grand Forks, MN until her retirement in 2018.  She enjoyed music very much, watching her nieces and nephews play sports, most of all she loved the time spent with family.

She is survived by mother, Linda, Crookston, MN; 3 sisters: twin Jennifer and Clayton Bakken, of Mentor, MN Jill and Bernie DeHate, Plummer, MN and Joanie and Patrick Simpson of Plummer, MN along with nieces and nephews Blake, Katheryne, Brandie, Paul, Kara, Heather, Skylar, and Nevaeh; great-niece Kennedy; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her Greenway Family.

Janelle was preceded in death by father, James and grandparents Henry and Rose Tvedt and Theresa and Pewee Cardinal, and uncle Ole Tvedt.
