Janet Louise McBride was born July 10, 1930, the daughter of James E. and Gladys (Sheldon) McBride. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Meriden, CT, where she was born and raised, graduating in 1948 from Meriden High School.

On February 18, 1955, Janet was united in marriage to Ambrose Nicholas Reese in Meriden, where the couple mad their home. Janet was employed by New England Bell Telephone Company, where she worked as an operator. The couple resided in Meriden for several years before settling and raising their children in Southington, CT. In 1980, they moved to Plainville, CY, until finally settling in St. Hilaire, MN in 1997.

Janet enjoyed crossword puzzles and cooking, but her biggest enjoyment came from her grandchildren.

She is survived by husband, Ambrose; four children, Ricky and fiance, Sharon Thomas, Meriden, CT, Dennis, New Britain, CT, Gregory and wife Billie, West Hartford, CT and Karen and husband, Shawn Hince, Brooks, MN; seven grandchildren, Eric, David and Zachary Reese, David Paradine, Norman Pelletier, Kayla Pelletier and Bailey Hince.

She was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Audrey McBride, Loris Fuller, Norma Paresi
