Obituary

Jason Patrick Panteloglow, 46 of Thief River Falls, passed away unexpectedly and entered Heaven's gates on Friday, October 2, 2020.

Please join us as we celebrate Jason's life on Tuesday, Oct. 20th, at Epiphany Station Church in TRF,  Doors open at 5:00 pm, with a 6:00 pm Memorial Service.

Jason Patrick Panteloglow, "JP"  was born at Beale AFB, California, on October 24, 1973, to Linda Lee and Thomas Panteloglow.  He traveled all over the world because his father, Thomas, was in the Air Force.  Therefore, he attended schools across the United States throughout his life, including Grand Forks, where his father was stationed from 1984 through 1991.  Jason was involved in many activities and was always in motion. Still, his passion was bowling and playing soccer.  Bowling was a family pastime that Jason and his dad, along with many friends, enjoyed.  He also loved watching sports.  His favorite football teams were the Oklahoma Sooners and the San Francisco 49ers. In addition, he enjoyed baseball and cheered on the Atlanta Braves.

He had a passion for sales as he won many salesmanship awards. Jason's charismatic personality left all the people he met with smiles and laughter.  Jason worked in car sales for most of his life and thoroughly enjoyed his occupation in Denver, Colorado.  He began working as a Team Lead at Walmart in Thief River Falls on January 1, 2020, and was promoted to Assistant Store Manager and managed the Automotive Care Center at the end of July 2020.

Jason moved to Minnesota, where he continued in the car sales business. Although he had lived most of his life in the big city,  he had grown to love Minnesota and North Dakota again, especially living in a small town with fantastic neighbors.  Here he began building a life with his beloved partner and soulmate, Stacey Leake. Jason treasured their relationship and had so many plans for his future with Stacey.  He also leaves behind many broken-hearted family and friends and will be missed dearly.

Jason was active in his church in Colorado, Lighthouse Church, and his church in Thief River Falls,  Epiphany Station. He had joined Discipleship Training, helped lead Celebrate Recovery groups, and held weekly male connection groups during the pandemic.  He also loved to dance and enjoyed meeting new people. Jason had a way of making everyone feel important and felt blessed with that gift from God.   He often prayed that God continued to use him as a vessel to do His work.

He is preceded in death by his brother Thomas; sons, Patrick and Teke; and grandparents. Jason is survived by his Mother, Linda Lee; Father, Thomas Panteloglow (Kath); Son, Robert; Daughter, Markie, and his "girl," Stacey.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Breast Cancer research in memory of his dear cousin Shannon and in honor of Stacey's recent cancer battle.
