Jean Brnna, 75, died on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at North Memorial Residential Hospice in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at St. Bernards Catholic Church, Thief River Falls, MN, with Father Tim McGee presiding.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 13, 2006 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with a 7:00 P.M. Prayer Service on Monday evening and one hour prior to the service, at the church, on Tuesday.

Jean Ann Hennessey was born October 23, 1931, at Conway, ND, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Foerster) Hennessey. She grew up and attended school in Conway. Because of her mothers illness, Jean helped with the family and helped haul mail in the area.

Jean met Irvin Brenna while fishing in 1957 and in October of that year the couple was united in marriage. They moved to Thief River Falls, MN in 1958. She babysat and cooked at the Thief River Falls schools for 5-6 years. She also worked at Arctic Cat for 11 years. She enjoyed drinking coffee and chasing boy toys.

Jean is survived by one daughter, Barbara, New Brighton, MN; sister, Delores Hennessey and brother, Francis Pat (Betty), all Seattle, WA.

She was preceded in death by husband, Irvin in 1998, parents, sister, Dorothy Malafa and brother, William (Bill).
