Jean Ione Hart, 74, of Lakeland, FL passed away on January 4, 2021 at Lakeland Regional Health Center, Lakeland, FL.

A gathering time for family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery of New Solum Township, rural Viking, MN.

Jean Ione Halvorson was born February 21, 1946 in Warren, MN the daughter of Roy Alvin and Nina Vivian (Gulbranson) Halvorson. She attended Oslo High School, Oslo, MN, graduating with the class of 1964.

On June 6, 1964, Jean was united in marriage to Michael Francis Hart at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Manvel, ND.

Jean was very active in church related activities all her life and loved witnessing and ministering to others about Jesus. She was the best mom in the world to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Nina Halvorson; and her husband Michael followed her on February 11, 2021.

Survivors include sons: Richard Hart, Mulberry, FL and Christopher (Carolyn) Hart, Mulberry, FL; grandchildren: Beth, Katie, Zach, Mulberry, FL; great-grandchildren: Jed, Ki, Annie, Mulberry, FL; siblings: Gloria (Elroy) Enervold, Buckeye, AZ, Arvid (Evelyn) Halvorson, Thief River Falls, MN; other survivors include a niece, nephew and many cousins.
