Jeanette Derosier, 61, of rural Red Lake Falls, MN died on Thursday, June 22, 2000 at her Red Lake Falls Home. Arrangements with the Petterson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2000 at 10:30 AM in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Terrebonne, MN with Father Tim Bushy officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Anthony Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, after 7:00 PM with an 8:00 PM prayer service and also one hour prior to services all at St. Anthony Church in Terrebonne.

Jeanette Ann Derosier was born April 6, 1939 at Brooks, MN daughter of the late Earl and Laura (Reopelle) Riel. She was raised and attended school through the 7th grade in Brooks, MN. She then moved to rural Red Lake Falls where she lived with the Dora Derosier family and graduated from Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls class of 1958. On August 30, 1958 she was united in marriage to Harold Derosier at St. Anthony Church in Terrebonne. The couple lived and farmed Harolds families farm all of her life.
She enjoyed decorating cakes, spending time working on her lawn and in her flower garden but most of all enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Jeanette was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Hillcrest Nursing Home Auxiliary, St. Anne Society at St. Anthony Church, Served on St. Anthonys parish council, belonged to St. Anthonys church choir and the St. Anthony Parish guild.
Jeanette is survived by her husband Harold Derosier of rural Red Lake Falls, MN; three sons Allen (Wendy) Derosier of Highland, CA; Randy (Sandy) Derosier of Red Lake Falls, MN and Kevin Derosier of Red Lake Falls, MN. 8 grandchildren Aaron, Eric, Alex, Mariah, Madison, Lindsey, Todd and Nicholas. Four sisters Joyce (Richard) Carlson of Cloquet, MN, Theresa Anderson of Cloquet, MN, Carol (Edward) Christian of Barnum, MN and Annette (Lindy) Christian of Cloquet, MN; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Roger Riel and an infant sister.
