Jeffrey Beste, 29, of Thief River Falls, MN quietly passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at his parents residence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, December 18, 2009 at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN. Father Rick Lambert will preside. Burial will follow at St. Bernards Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will also be held from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM on Friday at the church.

Jeffrey Lawrence Beste was born October 18, 1980 in Thief River Falls, MN the son of Stephen L. and Diann (Kartes) Beste. He was baptized and confirmed into the catholic faith. Jeffrey attended schools in Thief River Falls including, St. Bernards School, Franklin Middle School and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1999.

He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, flying remote control helicopters and airplanes; and his precious nephews and niece were very important to him.

Survivors include his parents, Stephen and Diann Beste of Thief River Falls; grandparents, Lowell and Marilyn Kartes of Langdon, ND, and Edie Beste of Fargo, ND; brothers, Jason (Michelle) Kempert of Thief River Falls and Justin (Michelle) Kempert of St. Cloud, MN; nephews, Keaden Kempert, Gannon Kempert and Brandon Vadnais; niece, Hailee Kempert; and many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Nicholas Beste.
