Jeff Greisen, 54, died on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at his home in Thief River Falls, MN. A Memorial gathering will be 11 AM-1 PM, Friday June 15,2012 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN. Jeff Greisen was born September 17, 1957 in Mayville, ND the son of Dennis Weganest and Dorothy Mae Greisen. He was later adopted by Richard Carl Greisen. Jeff attended school in Thief River Falls, MN and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1976. Following high school Jeff enlisted with the United States Navy as a missile technician stationed at Norfolk, Virginia. After he was honorably discharged, Jeff moved back to Thief River Falls. He met and married Susan Forsberg and together the couple had one daughter, Theresa. He then attended college and worked for Hydra-Mac and Arctic Cat. He also kept busy doing some freelance work as an auto mechanic. In the early 1990's Jeff and Debra Bierman were united in marriage. They welcomed their daughter, Nicole to their family. Jeff enjoyed working on cars and loved fishing. His pride and joy was his German Shepherd dogs. He is survived by his daughters, Theresa and Nicole; several grandchildren; brothers, Todd Greisen (Janis Witthoft) and Sean (Brenda) Greisen; father, DennisWeganest; several aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. Preceding him in death are his mother, Dorothy and his adopted father, Richard; his grandparents; several aunts and uncles.
