Jeffrey R. Hoard, 57 of Thief River Falls, MN passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his home in Thief River Falls, MN.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM at Falun Cemetery, Roseau, MN Thursday, March 3, 2016.

Jeffrey Robert Hoard was born September 17, 1958 at Thief River Falls, MN son of Robert and Rochelle ( Janicke ) Hoard. He was raised in Thief River Falls, MN and attended school there. He moved to Portland, OR where he received a welding degree and worked for Zeidels .

In March of 1995 he was united in marriage to Lou Ann Morken at Thief River Falls, MN. The couple lived in Thief River Falls and in 1996 moved to Oregon. Lou Ann passed away in 1998.

In 1998 Jeff moved back to Thief River Falls where he worked at Northern Pride. He was forced to retire due to an accident in 2002. He moved to Roseau where he lived until 2014 when he moved back to Thief River Falls.

He enjoyed deer hunting, riding motorcycle's, loved his animals. Jeff was a member of ABATE for many years.

Jeff is survived by his seeing eye dog Snoopy, children Terra Nomeland of Thief River Falls, MN; Jesse (Heather) Hoard of Grand Rapids, MN; Stephanie Skoien of Moorhead, MN; Andrew Beito of Fargo, ND; Mark (Nikki) Beito of Fargo, ND; Jennifer (Nick)Ter Doest of Fargo, ND; mother Rochelle Martinez of Beaverton, OR; sister Terri Lewellen of Beaverton, OR; companion of many years Diane Jones of Thief River Falls, MN; along with several grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, wife, grandparents, grandson's Zane and Justin.
