Jeffrey Mervin Johnson, 70, of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, passed away on November 1, 2026, in Thief River Falls. He was born on July 2, 1956, in Thief River Falls to Carl Melvin Johnson and LaVonne Ione (Wayne) Johnson.

Jeffrey spent many years working in flooring installation and painting. He was known for his hardworking nature, dependability, and willingness to lend a hand whenever needed.

Outside of work, Jeffrey enjoyed antiquing, baking, gardening, and, most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He found great joy in family gatherings and treasured the time he shared with those he loved. His loyal dog, Tippy Mabel, was also a cherished companion.

Jeffrey is survived by his children, Jennifer (Mark), Heather, Jeremiah, and Shane (Amanda); grandchildren, Jesse, Trystan, Hailey Jo, Jase, and Parker; siblings, Ina, Julie (Jeff), Melvin, and Dudley (Cheri); many nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, Tippy Mabel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Melvin Johnson and LaVonne Ione (Wayne) Johnson; and siblings, Art, Rachel, and Diane.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on November 21, 2026, at the Rusty Nail in Thief River Falls.

Jeffrey will be remembered for his kindness, his love of family, and the simple pleasures he enjoyed in life. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
