Jeffrey Scott Olson, 52, of Crookston, MN passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2016 at his home.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert officiating. Burial will be held at St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Jeffrey "Gupp" Scott Olson was born May 24, 1963 at Cudahy, WI son of Norman and Dolores (Wynne) Olson. He was raised in Thief River Falls and attended Lincoln High School.

In 1989 he was united in marriage to Kori Lea Jablinske. Jeff worked at the Turkey Plant and the ODC in Thief River Falls until he became disabled.

He enjoyed spending time with family and fishing.

Jeff is survived by his children Casey Scott Olson of Red Lake Falls, MN; Mickaila Lea Finch of Crookston, MN and Joshua Roy Jablinske of Thief River Falls, MN: grandchildren Baylee Ann Olson, Tiley Finch, Maddison Finch, Alex Thode, Chance Olson, Bella Jablinske, Amelia Jablinske, Emma Jablinske and Mauriella Jablinske: siblings Patty Carlson of Grygla, MN, Kenny Olson of Thief River Falls, MN, Sandra Nelson of Thief River Falls, MN, Debbie Limesand of Goodridge, MN, Norman Olson of Thief River Falls, MN and Steven Olson of Thief River Falls, MN; along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Norman and Dolores Olson; siblings Darryl Olson and Cindy Zinter and grandson Austyn Finch.
