Jerome Donald La Fontaine passed away at his rural Thief River Falls, MN residence on Friday December 16, 2022.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday December 31 ^st , 2022  at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls with Father Bob Schreiner Officiating.

Jerome Donald La Fontaine was born April 3, 1966 at Hawthorne, CA son of Joe and Susan (Ballingrud) La Fontaine. He was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic Faith.

Jerome was united in marriage to Christina Bowen and the couple recently celebrated their 30 ^th wedding anniversary. He worked in human resources at Arctic Cat, was in Home Healthcare Management at Apria; and worked for Miller American Racing Crew on the hydroplanes.

Jerome enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with family, music, being outdoors, barbequing and smoking meat and sipping coffee. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and HOG of Tucson.

Jerome is survived by his loving wife Christina La Fontaine; children Marina La Fontaine, Catarina La Fontaine and Joseph La Fontaine; mother Susan La Fontaine, siblings Derek La Fontaine and Natalie La Fontaine.

He is preceded in death by his father Joe La Fontaine; paternal grandparents Don and Dorothy La Fontaine and maternal grandparents Ernie and Gladys Ballingrud.
