Jerome Francis Lizotte 78, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Friday, October 26, 2012 at McIntosh, Senior Living with his loving wife Sharon by his side. A memorial service for Francis Lizotte will be held at a later date. Francis Lizotte was born June 5, 1934 at the family farm in Red Lake Falls, MN son of Art and Maria (St. Marie) Lizotte. He attended school in Red Lake Falls, MN. In January of 1954 he entered the US Army serving 3 years. Following his honorable discharge Francis owned a Milk truck hauling milk for Parenteau's in Brooks, MN. On January 9, 1960 he was united in marriage to Sharon Philion at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls. To this union was born one daughter Debra. They lived in Red Lake Falls where he was employed by the local Homark Company as a fork lift operator. Francis was an avid gardener and loved being in his vegetable or rose gardens. He loved playing cards and traveling but his biggest joy in life was enjoying life with his daughter and two grandsons and having laughs with his family. Left to survive him are his wife of 52 years Sharon of Red Lake Falls, MN, daughter Deb Edwards of Carmel, Indiana, grandsons Justin of Evansville, Indiana and Jonathon of Argentina; three sisters Marcy (George) DeSautel of Fargo, ND, Dolores Crane of Billings, MT and RaeJeanne (Don) Brunton of Veneta, Oregon; his in-laws and loved family members Mikki (Cedric) Schluter of LeSeuer, MN , Bill (Karen) Philion of Minot, ND, Bob (Sharon) Philion of Maple Grove, MN, Steve (Bev) Philion of Red Lake Falls, MN along with numerous nieces and nephews, and most of all his especially loved family at McIntosh Senior Living Staff and residents. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Norman, Louis and Reaume and four sisters Cecile, Evelyn and Elaine and Darlene, niece Donna Jean and a nephew David Schluter and Harold Crum who was his service buddy, best friend and brother-in-law.
