Jerome Jerry Super, 80, of Mentor, MN died on Monday, July 06, 1998 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. Arrangements with Petterson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 9, 1998 at 11:00 AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mentor, MN with Father David Super Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Lawrence Cemetery at Mentor, MN.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mentor, MN also one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Jerry Super was born September 28, 1917 in Little Falls, MN, son of John and Elizabeth (Wilinski) Super. He was a graduate of Swanville High School and served with the US Army during World War II.
He worked as an agent/telegrapher for the Great Northern Railroad for 22 years and the US Postal Service until his retirement in 1981. He married Eris Bruggeman in Oklee, MN of January 29, 1949. They lived in Erskine and Mentor before moving to Maple Lake in 1954 until the present time. During this time he was also an independent insurance agent and owner/operator of Super Realty in the Maple Lake Area.
He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, American Legion of Mentor, Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife Eris: three sons, Thomas (KayDell) of Middle River, MN; Robert (Mary) of St. Paul, MN; Rev. David of Moorhead, MN and one daughter Cathy (Jon) Buggy of Minnetonka, MN: eight grandchildren Krissi, Kara and T.J. Super, Elizabeth and Sarah Super, Emily, Laura and Patrick Buggy: one brother Simon Super of Flensburg, MN: sisters Betty Smorin of San Diego, CA and Mary Jane Then of Rice, MN.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Paul, Ben and Eugene.
He was a super Husband, Dad and Grandpa; a super Brother, Uncle and Godfather; a super man, worker and friend. May his grace-filled life on earth be only an indication of the joy he shares now in heaven.

Memorials are preferred to the St. Lawrence Catholic Church Cemetery fund or Crookston Diocese vocation fund.
