Jesse Norman, 24, died on Thursday, June 12, 2008 in rural Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, June 16, 2008 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Robert Dahlen officiating. Burial will follow in the Valle Cemetery in rural Grygla.

Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday.

Jesse Jene Norman was born on October 27, 1983 in Grand Forks, ND to Valerie Lynn Norman (Thorson) and William Patrick Norman. He was baptized at First Lutheran Church in Warren, MN. He grew up in Grygla, MN until the age of 14 when he moved to Goodridge, MN. He attended school in Grygla and Goodridge. He attained his GED in Warroad, MN. He worked at Arctic Cat for a couple of years. He also worked at Custom Products.

Jesse enjoyed playing Texas Holdem, playing and watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. He loved music and wrote poetry often. Hanging out with his nieces, nephews, and friends was a good time.

Jesse is survived by his mother Valerie Norman, Goodridge, MN, father William Norman, East Grand Forks, MN, brothers Shawn Waling, St. Cloud, MN, Cory (Kari) Waling, Lancaster, MN, sister Amanda (Justin Fish) Norman, Warroad, MN, grandparents Lola & Leonard Kostrzewski, Karlstad, MN, nieces and nephews Zoey and Evan Fish, Kasey Waling, Tucker Waling.

He was preceded in death by his grandpa Wilfred Thorson, and his paternal grandparents, uncle Mike Norman.
