Johanna Elizabeth Hoselton – 76, of Red Lake Falls, MN, died peacefully at home, Monday, October 17, after years of heart problems and several bouts with cancer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, November 4, 2011 at St. Joseph's Church, Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Chuck Huck presiding. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Red Lake Falls.

Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM, Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Johnson Funeral Service, Red Lake Falls, with a 7 PM prayer service and for one hour prior to the service at the church, Friday.

Johanna Elizabeth Faulhaber was born on March 16, 1935 in Hettinger County, ND, the daughter of Joseph V. and Mary (Kraft) Faulhaber. She moved with her parents from a farm in rural Lefor to Dickinson, ND, as a child, and attended school through the eighth grade at St. Joseph's Catholic school there. Johanna was united in marriage on November 17, 1972 to Wayne Hoselton at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson, ND with Rev. Fischer residing. They first made their home in Glendive, MT and moved to Red Lake Falls, MN in 1975 where they have since resided. Johanna raised their children and worked at home as a daycare provider for 16 years.

Johanna was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Joseph Ladies Guild. She also participated in services and activities at the First Presbyterian Church in Red Lake Falls, of which her husband, Wayne, is a member. Johanna was also a member of RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) and the Ladies Auxiliary of the LSS Senior Nutrition Center in Red Lake Falls.

Johanna enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, canning, embroidery, and playing cards. She enjoyed a good cup of coffee and visiting with others, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Johanna is survived by her husband, Wayne, of Red Lake Falls, MN; children: Douglas of Grand Forks, ND; Harrison (Jennifer) of St. Michael, MN; and Jocelyn of Monticello, MN; grandchildren: Tyler, Kale, Lauren, Abigail, and Joseph of St. Michael, MN; sisters Mary Bren and Kay Keller, both of Dickinson, ND, and Rose Collins of Sacramento, CA; four sisters-in-law, an aunt and uncle, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, seven brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
