John "Jack" Gordon Granum, age 95, passed way 10/29/15 at the Masonic Nursing Home in Bloomington, MN. Jack was born 8/30/1920 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Ole G. and B. Marie (Hermanson) Granum. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII. Following his military service, he went into business with his Dad in Ole's Northern Supply, Thief River Falls. In 1953, he moved to Moorhead, where he ran that branch of Northern Supply. On September 14, 1968, Jack was united in marriage to Phyllis Skoglund at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN. Jack played the organ, enjoyed motorcycling, made Christmas Villages, enjoyed reading and the companionship of his lovely wife, Phyllis. Survived by son, John Stromberg of Thief River Falls, MN, sister, Kathryn Anderson, Bloomington, MN and niece, Diane Anderson, Edina MN. He is preceded in death by wife, Phyllis, infant son, Scott, sister, Helen Lay and nephew, Glen Anderson.
