John Baptist Robidoux, 86, died on Monday, January 13, 2003 at his home in St. Paul, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2003-2:30 PM at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father John Kleinwachter celebrating.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2003 one hour prior to the service in the church.

John Robidoux was born on May 8, 1916 the son of Napolian Paul and Laura (Fournier) Robidoux in Poplar River Township, near Brooks, MN.

John farmed with his dad and brothers for the first 50 years of his life near Brooks. He then moved to Minneapolis about 32 years ago and worked as a custodian in a bank and at White Castle Restaurant until he retired. John has lived with his nephew Ronald and his wife Kristine Bluemke for the past four years in St. Paul on Mc Callister Ave.

John enjoyed fox hunting in his younger years. He was a quite person who stayed toward himself and enjoyed watching TV.

John is survived by his sisters Maria (Melvin) Boucher of Brooks, Rose (Norman) Boucher of Buffalo, MN, Alice (Bob) Bluemke of Oklee, Lucille Bluemke of Grand Forks, Margaret Robidoux of Grand Forks; sisters in law Geraldine Robidoux of Thief River Falls and Carolyn Robidoux of Thief River Falls and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Xavier and Robert.
