Jolyn H. Vigen Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, 75, passed away on October 27, 2008 along with her daughters Angela and Jennifer.

She was a Registered Nurse, graduating from Mounds Midway School of Nursing and taught nursing at many schools throughout the Twin Cities. She married Bert Vigen in 1960 and moved to the family farm in Thief River Falls, MN where she was a mother, nurse, domestic engineer and Director of Head Start for 22 years. After Jolyn retired, she relocated back to the Twin Cities in 1999 and spent many enjoyable years with friends and family.

Jolyn is survived by children, Elizabeth Vigen-Plante, Bert (Julie) Vigen, Karl (Sandy) Vigen, Naomi (Jeff) Ness; grandchildren, Jeremy (Joeline) Vigen, Nichole Vigen, Christopher Plante, Joshua Plante, Erika Vigen, Michael Vigen, Emily Ness, Sabrina Ness, Lydia Vigen, Rachel Vigen, William Ness and Jacob Ness; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Madison, Riley and Alexis; brother, Dr. William (Peggy) Conrad; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, November 3, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church, Monday. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for presentation to TSE, Inc.
