Joseph A. Jaeger, 40, of Garden Grove California formerly of Plummer, MN died on Monday, May 13, 2002 at his home in Garden Grove.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Brooks, MN with Father Tim Bushy Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Vincent dePaul Cemetery at Plummer, MN.

Visitation will be held on Monday 4 " 8 PM with a 7:00 prayer service at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Brooks and also one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Joseph Alan Jaeger was born March 20, 1962 in Thief River Falls son of Theodore and Anne (LaVoie) Jaeger. He was raised at Plummer and graduated from Plummer High School in 1980. He worked construction in the area until 1984 when he moved to California where he has continued to live and work construction.

He was a volunteer to fix Senior homes in California and also serving the homeless meals.

Joseph is survived by his mother Anne Jaeger of Plummer, MN: brothers and sisters Greg (Colleen) Jaeger of St. Paul, MN; Linda Lorenson of Plummer, MN; Kathi Jaeger of Plummer, MN; Jeff (Phoung) Jaeger of St. Paul, MN; Janet (Richard) Johnson of Lindstrom, MN; Cindy (Gary) Jaeger-Arlt of Plummer, MN; Mary (Tim) Skime of Roseau, MN; Paul Jaeger of Billings, MT; Helen (Steve Konickson) Jaeger of Thief River Falls, MN; Sheila (Mark) Holen of Thief River Falls, MN and Tony Jaeger of St. Croix Falls, WI. 16 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and nephews. Aunts and uncles Mary Ann Gagner, Howard and Margaret Greenwald and Jim and Shirley Jaeger.

He is preceded in death by his father Theodore: grandparents Paul and Blanche LaVoie and Nick and Helen Jaeger.
