Josh Chaput Detroit Lakes, MN formerly of Red Lake Falls, MN 26, died at his home in Detroit Lakes, MN Sunday, May 12, 2013. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday May 17, 2013 at 10:00 AM in St. Peter Catholic Church in Gentilly with Father Vincent Miller Officiating and Deacon Denny Bivens. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held on Thursday 4-7 PM with a 5:00 prayer service and also one hour prior to services at the church on Friday all at St Peter Catholic Church in Gentilly, MN. Joshua "Josh" David Chaput was born September 2, 1986 in Grand Forks, ND son of Marc Chaput and Jean Olson. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's Catholic church in Gentilly, MN. He attendedLafayette High School in Red Lake Falls and post-secondary in Thief River Falls and East Grand Forks. Following his education, he worked as a nursing CNA, Med Tech, Staffing Coordinator, and Housing Coordinator at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN, Manor Care in Fargo, ND, Emmanuel Community in Detroit Lakes, MN and Diamond Willow in Detroit Lakes, MN. Josh loved his dogs Rayna', Stella, and Rosie' and his cat Wesley'. He enjoyed cars, talking on the phone, and spending time with friends on Facebook; he was the life of the party and would do anything for anyone. Josh loved his life in Detroit Lakes, riding horse, and all animals in general. He was happy just sitting around a camp fire. He enjoyed going with the Brogren family to the Speakeasy nights.
