Joyce Geraldine Greseth was born April 3, 1922 at Roscoe, MN, the daughter of Melvin Ignatius and Petra Marie (Ullevig) Greseth. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She graduated from Crookston High School in 1940 and then attended nurses training at St. Lukes Hospital in Duluth, MN graduating as a RN.

On May 5, 1944, Joyce was united in marriage to Neal Stanley Fox in Duluth. Joyce continued her nursing career at Deaconess Hospital until Neal and Joyce purchased a Photo Studio in Thief River Falls which the couple continued to operate for many years.

She was involved with the Inter County Nursing Board, Oakland Park Nursing Board, Tri County Nursing Board and the Pennington County Welfare Board for many years and was active in church activities. Joyce liked to sew, knit, crochet, read, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survived by husband, Neal, Thief River Falls, MN; 2 children, Michael (Mary) Fox, Elk River, MN and Margaret Fox, Minneapolis, MN; 2 grandchildren, Andrew Michael Fox, Olympia, WA and Joanna Jeanne Fox, Elk River, MN; sister, Alice Lent and family, Duluth, MN and Donald (Phyllis) Greseth and family, Wanamingo, MN

Preceded in death by parents; brother, Marlow Greseth and brother-in-law, Sherman Lent.
