Juanita Turner, age 82 of Oklee, MN passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Essentia Health, Fosston MN.

The service to celebrate Juanita's life will be at 4:00 PM on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee, MN with Rev. Timothy Lundeen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Oklee.

Juanita Anna Finn was born February 26, 1939 in Belle Forche, SD the daughter of William Eldridge and Rae Anna Lida May (Gullion) Finn. She was baptized into the Christian faith. She attended school in Belle Forche and during Juanita's teenage years, the family moved to the state of Washington.

Throughout Juanita's life, she was lovingly known as "Hon".

At the age of 16, Hon married Carl Turner in Washington and to this union five children were born, Carl Jr. "Butch", Janice "Sis", Dorothy "Doodle", John and Tina "Punkin".

Hon loved to travel and could be described as a gipsy. She was always on the move and couldn't sit still having made her home in Washington, Tennessee, North Carolina and Minnesota. In 1980, Hon and Carl were divorced at which time she and Tina moved back to Washington. In 1993, Hon moved to Minnesota to be closer to her son, Butch and in 2012 made her home in Oklee. Hon was blessed for the past few years to be surrounded and lovingly cared for by her family.

Hon loved spending time with her pets including cats but especially her chihuahua's. In her younger years, Hon enjoyed crocheting and listening to her music.

Survivors include her children, Butch of Washington, Sis of Oklee, Doodle of Tennessee, John of Washington and Tina Turner of Oklee; grandchildren, Angie, Racheal, Kelly, Raeanna, Bobby, Kacie, Aaron, Christopher, Crystal, Amber, Ashley, Kenny, Billy; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Finn; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; great greatgrandchild, Little Birdie; sister, Joy Washburn; brothers, William "Sonny" Finn and Wilford "Willie".
